For some unknown reason, Volvo got a hard-on for using Torx headed screws where Phillips or Posidrive heads would have been perfectly adequate. You can tell this by checking out the earlier models and how they used to use conventional heads in the very same places. The Sevens were bad enough, but by the time of the Nines, nearly every ploddy thing seemed to be a T20, T25, T27, or T30 Torx.
I picked up a set of these in my travels for about $30 or so.

They'll cover everything a weekend warrior like myself ever needs to undo on a 240, 700, 0r 900.
