Hi, again.
I've been having a rough idle/stalling upon braking issue for months now and somebody (on here) suggested it could be down to the brake booster check valve being bad. Apologies, I can't remember who suggested it.
So, my question is, is there a simple way of replacing it that doesn't require removing the ABS etc? I really don't like the idea of messing with the booster as it is but the thought of removing the ABS really worries me.
Also, my brakes have always been kinda soft/sluggish. I know that if I drive my wifes Mazda after driving the 850, I press her brake and it's like I'm performing an emergency stop. Even after I upgraded to bigger calipers and put in new brake fluid it's not quite right. It hasn't deteriorated in any noticeable way in the 2+ years I've owned it though. Would replacing the check valve possibly sort this?
Thanks.
