Anyone here has used or is using the following?
1) Bilstein B6
2) Koni Yellow
3) Eibach springs
4) BR Coilovers
So which is the best way to go?
All I want is a smooth road and pure urban daily driving. No track work.
Perth roads are getting worse!
Thanks,
Eugene

Cheap coil overs are universally terrible. Inevitably poor quality, poorly specced and over-sprung.
I've got/had Eibachs in a few cars, although not a P80. They are a good road performance spring, although not my first choice for a comfort spring.
Same goes for Bilstein B6s, really.
I'm not a fan of Konis for road use. They 'always' have way too much high speed compression dampening, which makes them horrible on sharp bumps.
My suggestion would be to use B6s with stock springs (depending on what spec your car is).

I have Koni Sport adjustable shocks in my 850, based on what you've said, I'd go with them, though I find the stock spring is a tad too soft for the shocks on their sportier settings.
Do the strut tops at the same time FWIW.

I think KW offered some solid options for the P80 platform
If you just want lower and smooth... Sachs shocks with King springs from @AshDVS

My Koni's on stock R springs gave harsh rough road/city driving.
The same struts with IPD springs better control but harsh.
Bilstiens with IPD springs good. They may be B4s?
If you ditch the Nivomats you need the different shock top mounts.
Do the bushes in the rear arms and even the Delta Link setup.
Adjustable strut tops from Kaplhenke.
215/45 tyres will help ride too. If you can, Michelin PS3 or 4s.ride comfort and quietness got me first drive, plus very good handling!
Got a strut brace?
Eugene
Thanks heaps for the wealth of information!
I don't have Nivomats and so the options are good.
Will get the spring perches and stuts from kaplhenke and combine with perhaps B6 front and rear with Eibach springs.
Mine are 280/45/17 tyres.....
No strut brace I think....!?

Sounds perfect.
