Massey165 After many years planning to build a B234 2.5 engine, I have decided to sell the lot. I have 2 x P1800E's sitting waiting for some TLC I worked for Volvo Penta in the late 80's so have been aware of the 2.5L option for many years. The engine I have was a real gem, rebuilt and then never put in the water, The photos tell the story. Front and rear seals as they were when removed, main bearing shells unmarked, oil pump as it was when sump removed, inlet port no carbon, very clean. Block does not have any oil squirters. Also have a B234 head that is in very good condition. Block and crank, rods etc $850. head $350, cams have some surface rust. Prefer buyer inspect before they buy.

VolvoMike Deliver to Adelaide? haha nah but I am interested in the bottom end. I have the 2.3 16V 240 and wouldn't mind the crank, rods and pistons.

Regards, Michael Yeah, could be anything from 85-89 from the center thrust and volvo is strange about rebuilds... rods and other bits are not "wear" items so you get all sorts of really strange combinations The year of the block will also tell the deck height as volvo changed it every single year from 85-98
