Hi all, got myself an s70 a while back for $900 from a bloke who inherited it from family in western NSW. It is a 10V, base spec, manual and it is pretty rad cos of that. I had forgotten quite how nice a gearbox these had and am loving the 5 cyl NA sound that I got hooked on back with my first Volvo. She is a little wallowy on the road and has absolutely buggered strut tops so got a little work to do but should be covered from the insurance payout on the mirage.

Needs a T5 front bar!
Need any wood glovebox trim?
Also got beige electric front seats if you pay E-Go to send them to you.
Simple wire in ,should be pre wired too.
got a stacker cd player too! 16" wheelz?
Got bits anyway. Am moving so shout out now!
May sound odd but want it to remain aesthetically base spec, enjoying the simplicity.
egads;111783 wroteAlso, any opinions on the BC racing coilovers? http://bcracing.com.au/zg-04-va
Fairly ordinary. Poor matching of the shocks and supplied spring rates. Spring rates far too stiff, particularly in the rear.
Definitely better off with a decent set of springs and shocks.
Tah for advice will steer clear, cheap coilovers in general seem to be a bit rubbish.
Looking to eliminate hopeless front strut top design, erring towards the kaplhenke strut mounts if not going coilover.

I have a lot of customers who purchase something from us after having initially purchased BCs.
They're probably no worse than any of low-end coilover products though; K-Sport, D2, XYZ, etc.
A friend used the mid range bcs. And they seem to be pretty good overall, a bit stiffer than konis with eibachs. The bottom range ones evidently suck hard on a road car.
Suck hard definitely not keen on and koni with eibachs is probably a bit overkill, Bens stuff is getting my money I reckon.
Koni Yellows are a bit harsh to me. Bilsteins seem good. Dont go low,it ruins the ride.
Stock height. Will see how I go with the current shocks, the trick strut tops, and moog problem solver sway bar end links (they have grease nipples!).
I have the MOOG link rods but not installed, a good looking part!
I read the nipples must be tweaked. To not hit something close by, not even thought about that yet though.
Bilstiens on std springs has been good.
Maybe get new std springs, I reckon it's a must do from my experience.
Maybe stiffer in the rear (ahem) Ash could advise.

Got the Moog problem solver end links and the kaplhenke strut tops put in yesterday. New front tyres today as the knackered front end ate the tyres up good and proper. Drives great now, just needs a good quality alignment. With thanks to guys at TechWorkz in Tuggeranong, rally dudes and near work = winner.

Seatbelt broken plastic belt bit didn't stay fixed. Curses!

Got a top notch wheel alignment today and now is perfecto. Then checked for timing belt change and it was done only a few 1000k's ago. Winner.

So is going to be what we go on holiday to tassie in.

Will need to do key barrel at some point as it is doing the loose goose sloppy thing that they do.
I am drowning in alloys to use for it. Full set of t5 wheels for it and a set of NOS 850 15's, thanks though. Sort of digging the crazy 3 prong thing too even if they are pretty beaten up.

Got some steel wheels for this and a new boot hinge and some boot struts. Now to work out putting them in without buggering it up then pink slip time.
