Did you even bother looking this up or just want to be lazy?

'86 model doesn't have a suppression relay, apparently.
The TB thread seems to be the exact same issue. A later model harness with the relay hooked up to an older car with no relay
hmm .. that might be your answer
Might be. Need to find a diagram of that plug and see what the wire going to nowhere doesnickm;111063 wrotehmm .. that might be your answer
It's a black wire no idea what it does having a hard time finding out
You really should get a multimeter at this point.

Can't do anything until I either fix or replace my fuse box since it melted
these are pretty much after market upgrades on a 700

rather than rewiring the whole thing yes....Most 700s I have seen have a couple of fuses melted. Usually the Fan one.
We have had the same fuse on 3x 740s melt it was the day light running light fuse
1986 wasn't Motronic... was it??

Once we know this, we can look up TPH 31383/1 and find a match for each connector. Then we will have an idea of what's going on here.

I think only the B23ET was motronic.
So did I before, but TP-31383/1 shows diagrams for the B230ET as having Motronic (pages 20 and 21).nickm;111096 wroteI think only the B23ET was motronic.

Australia brought in the unleaded laws so I don't think we got any B230ETs locally
