Still trying things out to get the old girl going again.
Found that the ignition coil plug was quite corroded. And the blugs look pretty black, so im thing the coil isnt putting out enough spark under load (see photos). I tested it with the multimeter and it had the right resistance range, but was difficult to get a reading from the spark out port due to the corrosion. I ordered a new coil last monday but today they have said theyve got supplier issues. Will also get a new set of leads.
So im looking at other coils. Does anyone know of one of the below 2 coils are a suitable replacement?
