A bit of advice on sale price possible for my 1995 850 SE Manual would be much appreciated. She is running nicely, however the lambda light has recently come on - not affecting driving the car and I haven't yet resolved. Cosmetically pretty shoddy. Needs a respray on a couple of doors, roof lining needs replacing, has a hole under the headlight where a rock went through the plastic, drivers leather seat torn on seat back where it has been rubbed getting in and out of the car, a ding or two in the body, squeaky dash. You get the idea. I love the car but am just about giving up as it is just too low for the 5klms of dirt road I have to drive on to go out. I am trying to decide if it is worth spending the money getting the doors resprayed and the roof lining replaced and doing the work to fix the squeaky dash and resolve the lambda light. Can anyone give me any idea what price I could ask for it in it's current condition and also if I did some work to fix it up. Obviously just an opinion. If it was an auto, I probably wouldn't bother but as it is a manual... maybe. Haven't got her here at the moment but the klms are something like 250,000.

Wagon Maybe worth a little love and someone may but it , sedan probably just sell it for the gearbox

Gearbox and pedals unit seem to go for $700 ish.
And by sound of rest of car, no, just sell for gearbox, not worth spending the kind of cash needed to get a lot less return.

Thanks very much folks. Very much as I suspected. A shame because I love to drive her. Ah well. Sometimes you have to be harsh. It just doesn't suit my environment - and I have tried. Been driving her since 2014.

Maybe a little creative thinking and keep it....
Bigger tyres like off an xc70.
Others may know of raising the ride height possibly.
The cost of doing some modifications is worth it on a car you have fixed up, know and love.

I think we have looked at the bigger tyre option and didn't think there was room. Will have to check up on that.
