You can't reset injector adaption
Only thing you can run with a cracked version of Vida is a fuel injector test to see how much the ecu is trimming to maintain correct speed of each cylinder. If you use this test in combination with a cylinder leakage test you can ascertain if the injectors are actually faulty.
The most common diesel issues I see are faulty lift pumps, intermittant EGR jamming and swirl flaps causing injector and afm codes.
I haven't found a Bosch tool that lets you do any of the diesel Volvo's we get in Australia
