X100s are great! You could have recovered the exposure in Lightroom. Shoot RAW and you have more to play with....

Yeah I didn't think of that. I was shooting in jpg so I you really don't have the same flexibility. It was so hot and bright on the Sunday I just switched the ND filter on and left it on what I thought was auto. I was just one click too short.

The x100 has been blowing me away. The quality of the lens on this camera is why I bought it and so far it has not disappointed.
Only downside is that it's not the fastest auto focus for kids running around at top speed. My old Sony Nex system was amazing for that.

My Brother on a European holiday had his Nikon on his hand the whole time,realised he missed a lot of why they were there cos playing with camera. He should have taken his X100 instead! The best photo of the trip came from his wife's iphone..........
