Hey fellas, I'll be as honest as possible I'm looking to either sell or more preferably swap my 1995 Volvo 850 T5 for a Volvo 240/740/940 Turbo (manual). The car was bought down near the coast earlier in the year from a bloke who had huntingtons disease and could no longer drive and brought back to Canberra where I've been driving it for the last few months. The Volvo has a 5 speed manual, is completely stock and has 324,000km's on it. I've only put on 1,500 km's since I bought it a few months ago, the car has NSW rego until the 8th of July (2 Months), since buying it I have done the following:
- Replaced the radiator and radiator cap
- Replaced the heater core
- Oil filter change
- Oil change
- Transmission and brake fluid change
- Coolant flush
There are of course a few, mainly minor, issues or cons with it:
- The rubber bushing on the top engine mount is worn out, I do plan on replacing it within the next few weeks though.
- There is some paint peeled off on the spoiler, from what I can see there is no other paint peeling on the car elsewhere.
- Part of the left side of the bumper and small bit of paint on the left wheel arch has been chipped which leads me to believe one of the previous owners must have scraped a post.
- The air conditioning pulley is not connected (a smaller belt is used), though the air conditioning is still there. I haven't looked into why this is the case, but I assume the AC doesn't work.
- One of the boot struts has been taken off, assume its not functional, but it's in a box in the boot.
Car also comes with logbooks, owners manual, two sets of keys, spare oil filter, original assesorie belt, two bottles of transmission fluid and full sized spare.
The headlight washers have been taken off.
Thanks, comment or message me for any more information. I'm located in Canberra, I will upload some photos tommorow and I'm open to offers.
