Ramrodfunk Wow ,super jealous. What a great turn out. I will definitely be there for next one and hopefully have all of my long list of projects for the car finished in time. :fearful:
A_Volvo_Driver Best part was when Paul was thanking James (and helpers) for organising everything. He started to walk towards the esky, and we all thought that he had a gift for James, only to get a drink for himself. It's a shame that Nina didn't get a photo of that :)

alphax Thanks for a great day out Saturday. I was happy to make it from Burwood VIC to Benalla and back on one tank. That includes stopping to check up on some bloke with a broken 122s on the Hume. Good going to get that sorted same day. All up was actually 445km's 'door to door' by the time I remembered to set the trip meter. Probably similar economy to the original engine!
Vee_Que Thanks for stopping! Nice to have met you. If the tow truck had been quicker I would have made judging!
Vee_Que Broke the alternator brackets due to the non stock nature of it, changed the top bracket since Geelong for more adjustment, but the angle changed too. Towed to family farm in Shepparton, welded it up, made it at 5:15.
Vee_Que It's a 55 year old car, things leak. There is more value in a steering box that isn't worn out than one that may leak slightly.
