Usual culprits being dead intank, leaky hose between the 2 pumps, gunk in fuel pickup or intank filter or clogged fuel filter for me. The 76 245 still runs single pump & on a long run starts wailing & eventually threatens to cut out. Is it kjet?

Spare I have is undercar. That is usable intank if need be yeah?

It should work fine with just the main working, but having the in tank working also is better

Yeah, Egads said that if I keep the fuel tank at least half full, I should have no issues in getting it home

Yeah you shouldn't have any issues above 1/2 a tank.
