Meet Jeff!
Jeff's a MY15 (November 2014 build) Honda Jazz VTi who was brought-up in Australia's Home of Country Music! Jeff's been registered for nearly 2 years, so still has 14 month's warranty, which is good when you're buying a car on behalf of your sister (who will probably keep it for at least 10 years, she still has the '95 Accord I found for her in 2006 & is only replacing it because Things The Look Expensive are going wrong fairly regularly).
I believe Jeff is Vivid Sky Blue, a pearlescent colour (I need to double-check but I think the Brilliant Sporty Blue is closer to the Reddish Blue 555 team colour).
Jeff was not without blemish ... but it seems this style of car is difficult to find without the sort of scuffs that happen when it's just an appliance.
I couldn't get a photo because morning dew hides it, but there's some polish on the plastic between the bonnet & windscreen, probably a quick buff by the dealer & not being careful enough. Dunno if that will come off, but some product might hide it because being damp hides it (ie. drying with a paper towel still didn't make it visible).
I suspect someone's put a box on his head:
And you can see where I imagine he must have hit a 'roo on the highway:
Jeff took me a couple of places while he headed for his new life in the big smoke, firstly shopping in Main Street:
... and then with mixed emotions he waved goodbye to the Big Golden Guitar.
I think he's more looking forward to
leaving the home of country music, however, because when you're Jazz there are only so many nasal songs about trains & utes you can cope with.
And because he knew it was a longish day for me, we stopped off at Margan Estate for dinner. :-)
