Dear 240 brains trust:
Ronnie has sprung a new quirk now that the cold weather has hit. When first started from cold, her idle is high, and the colder the weather, the higher the idle. On cool mornings it was sitting around 1200–1500 rpm, which was no big deal. This morning, which was around 8 degs where we are, she was idling at over 2000 rpm. Once she's warmed up, after a couple of kms, all is well, and idle is back around 700–800 rpm. If i start her again some time later (i.e. not fully cold again) all is fine.
She's an '89 240, B230F, LH2.4, M47.
Any thoughts on where to look? The idle speed valve thingy? The only thing I've done in (relatively) recent memory that may have contributed was to clean the throttle body, but this was in summer so the warm weather may have disguised any oddities.
