In some cases, absolutely, but in others we are fabricating ourselves or having products locally built to spec.
Uni fund? might be too early to make that call, though it might help pay for old mate's PW50 for christmas.
Yeah I Forgot about the strut tops, and the caliper mounts which I need to get hold of a set for fitment.
Absolutely,
That's the tip of the iceberg.
From a sales point of view, about 70% of what we sell is DVS branded.
From an offerings point of view, if we disregard replacement parts and consumable parts, our split of our own, local built or local designed products vs other brands we offer is about 65/35.

Of course, there's a heap that isn't on our website as it isn't relevant to the road market too and these are contributing factors to going to bed at silly-o'clock every day. lol.

Anyway, back to our regular programming! :)
I was picking some parts up off vince harmer on thursday, and he had the front suspension out of his 164 that he races in the historic class. I had a pretty good look at the setup he is running. Pm me if you're interested in the details as he is one of the only locals i know of who has setup his 164 for track work and uses it regulary. He mentioned that he was having issues with the stub axle flexing under cornering loads.
will be interesting to read what his set up is, in comparison to the other double A arm track cars.

george out in malmsbury who has a successful 144 track car has something crazy like 4deg neg camber and 2.5deg neg caster. (although successful he isnt the biggest fan of it.)
his new 120 is something closer to what some of us are already running.
1.5.2.5deg neg camber
4deg neg caster.

in all truth im not sure how to measure my caster, i just jammed as much into it as i could. and running approx 1.5-2deg neg camber. until i re-align the front its difficult to get it accurate.
You wouldn't want more than 2 degrees negative camber on a road car, because it will cook the inside edge of the front tyres unless you're cornering hard and often. 3 degrees on a track car (with tyres cut with a blade buff to suit) will give even tyre wear and plenty of grip, and the thing will be awesome fun, turning in beautifully and a joy to throttle steer.

BTW, I believe you meant positive castor ;) - negative castor is baaaad.

Positive is the axle path, fire wall direction?
Then yes positive.
I thought it Would have been gauged on the same direction as a clock face. And like camber
We had trouble with 122 stub axles bending.competition jags bend them to, We get stainless steel onesfrom Spiteri in Melbourne. Unfortunately the volvos are fixed

Bearing spacers from Harrops may help deal with that problem. Alternatively a custom knuckle may be required.

Just goes to show though how much grip the modern racing radials and slicks have - the former have come a long way from the old A008-R.

We can certainly help with decent shocks. Drop me a PM or email and we can discuss what you need a bit further.
