Where are these 140rwkw B20 powered Amazon's?
The motherland, I am unaware of any in australia currently
Bs. Even in the states there's little evidence of cars making more than 100rwkws while being a road car... My motor has a small cam and the result is as expected, but to gain double the power... . Not going to happen.
Further, a stock turbo motor with the boost turned up with a manual makes 110rwkws on an
honest dyno.
There is cars in Australia running 9 second quarters with gas mixers, electronic timing. The gas research system is draw through and reacts very very well to boost. So it's not an issue to tune them either.
Motherland == Sweeden... NOT the USA
Mother of god... Has my mullet really grown out that much... do I drive a Camero?
Sounds like it was a shit motor with shit ems then
940s (1996) boosting to 5psi made 127hp, set boost to 13psi via AEM truboost and made 188whp same dyno
Turned the boost back down and back to 128hp
Same dyno rated the I30CRDI (auto) at 82WHP (low if anything)
Not sure how we went from street cars to drag cars
But I do know of a few much faster street cars running MS on junkyard LS motors so... whats the point?
Except for detail that you never mention going to a dyno, sure. I've only seen half a dozen 740/940ts on the Dyno, and all of them in auto form with stock boost, otherwise in good condition, with an auto makes under 100wkws, manual ones, as I've Said, around 110rwkw. Lh 2.4 is not that much better that you gain the power at the engine to the wheels. So without proof, I don't believe you.
Further. 13:1? No the Lindvquist b20 made 220whp na, and he didn't use that much compression. I've done the research on the b20, I've spoken with the people that do it, the 2k budget diy? It costs 500 for a cam alone.... Even if I started with my b20e it will not realistically make 120wkws and be a driving car. I will be going higher comp, but not much. Without linkable proof, I remain sceptical. I can pull up results from dyno days if you want though.
