Tasmanian Road Trip

Hi guys,

Have got a group of enthusiasts heading to Tasmania in May for an 11 day tour of the Apple Isle. This is our 4th trip to Tassie.

There will be a dozen of us in various cars including 3 Volvo S60's (2 x R and one T6 R-design) several Focus XR5's with the Volvo I5, a few Fiesta ST's and one Mitsubishi Evo interloper... :p

Anyway, I just thought I'd extend an invite to any Oz Volvo members from Tassie who might like to cruise with us if it works out? Dates are May 15 to May 26 (including travel on the ferry)

Let me know where you're located and I can give you an idea of when we will be there. Our route takes in the Northern and Eastern coastlines as well as the midlands.

Hey, I'm at Barringwood Estate in Lower Barrington, just out of Devonport if your travels take you in this direction it's a nice spot to stop & we can look at getting a few locals together here.

Probably going to stop for a while at Tasmazia just down the road form Barrington on the 17th before we head to Mole Creek via Liena. We will have come from the Cradle Mountain area.

That'd be an awesome road trip. Not possible for me this year though, but I would love to tag along if there is another one.

yeah Ash, we've gone three times before with a bunch of people off the XR5 Forums.

15 of us in 2012, 21 of us in 2013 and 26 of us in 2015. Only a dozen again this year but that's a great sized group to travel around with. Really looking forward to it.
