So, I bought an LC-2 Digital Wideband "Lambda" O2 Controller and Gauge kit and have a day off tomorrow. My plan is to take the old o2 sensor out and fit the wideband in its place.
I found a write up about a similar install but it's about 8 years old and possibly outdated.
My question is/are:
How easy a job is it for a novice?
Has anyone here done this on an 850?
How do I go about setting up the controller so it feeds my ecu the "fake" correct value?
Thanks in advance
Craig

The main issue you'll have is that the fake value will probably be a bit different to the original sensor's value. My recommendation would be to leave the original O2 sensors alone and drill and weld an additional bung for your wideband sensor.
Still, if you really don't want to do that, the correct way to wire up the fake 1V narrowband output is whatever the manual for the kit says to do. I'm pretty sure @clinton knows the ins and outs of it, but I'm not sure if he's still active on Oz Volvo.

Thanks @jamesinc . I believe the old sensor to be stuffed which is why I'm keen to swap it out.
As for the manual, well, I took it out of the box to read it and now it is "misplaced" unfortunately.
