I'm thinking a later model motor maybe the way to go?? Just thinking!!!!
@guru is 3/4 of the way through an engine transplant to a B230 turbo. AFAIK he's got the block in the car, so he's sorted out engine mounts, etc.
I'm doing a B230 16V swap in one of mine, but have yet to begin - engine mountings still have to be decided upon.
3800 V6 engine swaps have been done into 140s, although not many in Oz. The 3800 engine is very exhaust sensitive, far more so than the V8s, as John Harvey told me a long time ago in another life.
