As I said when we were happily chatting about it at your lockup: No thanks. :) Happy to support it, but not to run it.

From the outside it looks like the Facebook pages complex.
Tonnes of pages, all with the same people peddling the same/similar information.
Well said. Totally agree.
Remember those that don't use this platform may Not be aware you or the Vic club have an active 140 register.
If the Victorian club has a 140 register, it's not online and nobody can see it. Which defeats the purpose of a register. Home PCs and the internet have been common for over 20 years now, so there's no excuse for keeping it on paper with entries written in fountain pen, behind a door displaying a sign stating 'BEWARE OF THE LEOPARD'.
bigal;102732 wrote@blondejay He is aware of the register. Probably wasn't to his liking so started his own.
This kind of wierdness occured in the Porsche club and things ended badly. Not going down this path again.. [...]
Perfectly understood. Although starting a competing register for those sorts of reasons seems a bit 'high school', instead of supporting the one that existed first, and after he'd refused to establish one for ages until yours got going.

Porsche club, that's not unexpected though is it? Lots come across quite snooty. (With the exception of a few) then again the boganholden clubs can be no different I suppose.
Not only Holden clubs. Biting my tongue here...
So I'll stick to the positive: Thank The Great Maker and The Prophets for Oz Volvo.
