V70
I have a light wiper windscreen scratch across the screen on drivers side on my v70 and would anybody have any idea what would be best to use without using a buffing tool to hopefully rub it out, have tried cut and polish no help.

I had this once on a 240. The cheapest solution is a new windscreen. There are services that can get scratches out of your windscreen, but it's a slow process. They're cost effective if you have like a 1cm scratch. If you have a run from a windscreen blade, they're way expensive.

I'd just replace it too. I've tried it by hand. Without a power tool it just ain't gonna happen.
I have seen people on youtube use a polishing wheel on a drill. Depending on how much that costs (since the alternative is replacing it anyway)... you don't own an electric drill? I've seen fairly small polishing wheels somewhere recently. It was about 10cm or less in diameter. It looked like sheets of calico sewn together. I can't imagine it cost much - probably less than $20. Only place I can think that I've been is Supercheap or Bunnings.
Maybe you could find a good cheap 2nd hand windscreen to remove a chunk of the cost of installation. They probably won't guarantee it because they're not supplying the glass, but who cares.
