Also im hunting a 242gt bonnet latch assembly if you have one kicking around.

I may have tested them when they were removed from the cars, but I'll put a multimeter on them and make sure they're giving appropriate readings, and get you a postage cost.

I haven't got anything '86+, but should have at least one good black one from an earlier model, if that's of any use.

Grille is in excellent shape, all mounting tabs intact, no cracks, all chrome is good, needs a good clean and polish, Volvo logo is dull in places, as you can sort of see in the pic. Looking for $75 plus postage.

Actually can we change that from bonnet latch to bonnet latch cable?

And that sounds great! Wouldn't happen to be able to find a set of early single rounds in black as well? I don't want to paint my existing ones if I don't have to.

I do have at least one good bonnet cable, the only thing is, I have no idea how to remove the cable from the firewall. Any ideas on how it's supposed to come out? :))

I have a set of single round lights with black surrounds to match the grille you're asking about, I'm thinking I'd prefer not to separate the lights from the surrounds though. They're in excellent shape, $100 for the lot.

Turns out there is a grommet that is pushed in place then gooped solid. Atleast thats what bentley says, will probably be tricky to move but thats the only thing holding it in place.

And thats more then fair enough, means i can have a spare set on the side that i can fix up and keep for later in life. Is that $100 for the grill and lights? If so pm me your details so i can send you money haha

I'll have another look at the cable in the '83 parts car which has a stripped out engine bay and dash, and see if I can get it out intact.

I'm after $100 for the pair of lights with surrounds, and $75 for the grille, and say $15 for the cable if I can get it out OK, plus postage on the lot, but if you buy all of the above I'll give you a decent "bulk" discount.

Postage could be quite pricy, maybe I can pack it in a wooden crate and say it's aircraft parts, and get my father to send it to you through some internal air force freight system? :))

Sounds all very reasonable to me, let me know how you go with the cable.

And good luck with that, the defence would probably be rougher on the package then australia post haha. And the weight shouldn't be too much so here's hoping for less then 100 bucks all up for delivery.

Awesome ive got a fair bit to do on the car yet so i have some time before i would need it all.

I also might find random broken things as i go so this gives me time to find it all haha.

@Angus242164 do you have the latch that goes on the back of the rear seats in a 245 (the one you pull to release the seat lock and lower the seat).

No 245 seat latches unfortunately, I haven't wrecked any wagons in recent years, so I only have a handful of 245 specific bits.
