Bugger, what are the issues with the T6?
lots of mechanical issues, and stupid high labour costs when anything goes wrong due to the packaging
EG... chain driven water cooled alt which likes to fail (or its mini timing belt coupling that requires nearly pulling the engine out to replace)
When the engine runs nicely, it is a good engine with good power... issue is purely around reliability and repair costs
One other thing, because of the 6 speed trans, engine is limited to 440NM of torque... so the 150KW and 420NM that the D5/D4 make are nearly as fast because of how the T6 is tunned for power
(T6 pretty much only makes more power than the D5 because it rev's higher)
Most D5's sold in the S60's are AWD versions for 2010+
I am thinking very hard about dumping my 06 530d to swap to a 2010 S60 D5...
