Yesterday I went out to the skull wagon at
@Philia_Bear's house and ended up helping him whitewash a fence. I also pulled the steering column from the skull wagon to replace the one in Band-Aid, which has a broken collar between the steering wheel and lock assembly.
Today I drilled out the security bolts, which on the bench drill was actually very easy, and the thread extractor did its job with minimal fuss, so the whole thing took maybe 10 minutes. The threads are something like an M8x30? I have some internal hex head the same size so will use those in lieu of security bolts.
We also painted the radiator and the wiper arms, which made the car look a big tidier.
