OldnDecrepit Volvo 242GT - bids start at $4,000 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Volvo-242gt-1980-original-condition-coupe-240-244-/281282875208? Looks in good nick!
Spac That car used to be parked in the street across the road from my sister's old place - it used to be covered in grime and cobwebs, with leaves and stuff built up around the tyres. The photos are taken in the back of the units my sister lived in. Then to make it even weirder, I'm also semi-certain that its the car that two of my mates used to own in Wollongong. I took a photo of the rego label last time I saw it, but neither of them had any documentation of the VIN of their old one to prove the point. I could be wrong on that, but if I was to look at this car, I'd have a very close look for repairs inside of the quarter panels above the wheel arches. ;)
Tigabu Interesting too that it says original condition, but I thought the black tops were painted factory repairs due to bad sun damage to the paint?
nickm I have seen this regularly parked at Stanmore in NSW been there for years. Looks resprayed in real life. Being an inner city car expect higher than normal bumps and dints. It did always looked good, though and at that price.
