OldnDecrepit I've just bought the front and rear sway bar from a 1991 960 being wrecked (see the RADAR thread below) and it got me thinking what else might be handy as spares for Inga. For example, will the headlights be the same? will the powered seats fit? (It has a grey interior so I'm not really interested in this one) Carpets and various trims? Does anyone have any experience they'd like to share?
Vee_Que Rear sway bar won't suit your car with it being irs and yours live axle. Not much off one like that. But s90 door handles, door trims, front seats fit in but they are very heavy and not worth the hassle imo, though they are more comfortable. Give it a go with carpets but as I've said it is a different shape. Headlights are the same as 1990 740 turbo and 760 a and 940 too
OldnDecrepit I wasn't sure about the rear sway bar but at $30 I told my b-in-law to take it anyway. If the headlights are the same it's tempting to buy them (if cheap) as spares.
Vee_Que Only if you have the fog lights, high beam and low beam all seperate on your car. It's an 89 yours isn't it? .

asiandriver Vee_Que;10303 wroteOdd. Never seen late front on a gle. Yep the lights are the same. 1990 model 740 GLE 16 Valve & 740 Turbo both came with 940 style front end. Only exception is the North American market.
