Hi All,
I've been offered a 122S that has been off the road for a few years. The block is still in the car, but the head has been removed and there is no way to know what shape the engine is in. It might make sense to put a complete, working engine in it rather than mess about with a rebuild. I'm in Brisbane and was wondering if anyone has a B18 or B20 in good running condition they are looking to sell.
Cheers, Dave

I have a possible option, a B20 that hasn't run for several years but has been kept dry and ran well previously, there should be no reason why it wouldn't run fine at this point.

No sorry, cant help with that one at the moment..

Hi Dave I have a B20 that is in the process of being assembled, new 030 pistons, new bearings, sending it off to have block machined to match piston height. send me a pm or call 0448733324

Will it be tight squish?

Thanks guys, I'm going to have a closer look at the car this morning and will get a better idea of the car's condition and value. I'll be in touch about the engines.

squish area up to purchaser, can be flush with the top of the block or what ever they like.

Why not just set it to have 37' with a b20e gasket? So about 10' below the deck with the gasket at about 27'. Thats how mine is.

B 18 may be hard to find in any condition I've been looking for one too I will likely bite the bullet and reco the one I have
