And if post 1973, Cibie or Hella? (They look very similar, but one won't fit the other).

I've bought from this guy before and the lenses were fine.

Keep your seals, since the LH ones are unavailable new and RH ones are available from CVI, but they can be expensive with shipping.

i am new to this Volvo and i have 20b engine and manual trans. where can i get suspension parts for this, like ball joints, busing etc..

CVI is pretty reasonable for pricing, including the shipping. However, there will be people here and on I Roll on Facebook who will have stuff cheaper if you don't mind second hand or new-old parts.

If you can open a Tradera account, you will also find a few nice bits there too.

If you want to deal with an Australian, George Minassian at volvo 120-1800 parts is your man. You will find his pricing about the same as shipping stuff from Sweden or Scandix in Germany.

You'll find most of what you need at these places. It pays to check prices at each, as no single outlet offers the best price on every item. The Volvo Parts Webstore, even though it's in the USA, offers better prices than the local dealers - i.e they don't have the hide to ask $47 for a single head bolt, meaning I got a whole set from the US, with shipping, for half of the price the Australian dealer wanted for half the bolts.
