Rmsv70
Hi, Im looking for my next project and as I don't have much experience with Volvo's I thought to ask you guys. I recently purchased a V70 wagon but having trouble finding local and reasonably priced parts and extras but I have been offered a 91 240 cheap and I've found parts locally and pretty reasonably priced so the question is would it be a better decision to try and spend the money doing up the V70 keeping in mind it's not manual, awd or turbo but does have all the extras like leather, wood grain, electric sunroof etc. Or just pick up the 240 and play around with it?

240, always 240.

Look in the spare parts section on this board.
Most of us here buy from overseas as the local Volvo price gouging is obscene and much easier to buy overseas most times.
With both cars you get biodegradable interior plastic which is a pain.
I would have both cars....

240. Even though there's so many of them, they are still the coolest. Aside from that, there's shite loads of online resources regarding the body and drive train. And yes, parts are still abundant.
As for the V70, it's kind of a must to have a t5. If it's in good condition, with all the options as you stated, would be a super nice car. No matter which way you go, I would keep the V70 and maybe use it as the daily.

I would keep the V70 and maybe use it as the daily. < This. If you need it as a daily a V70 is a better car. If you don't, then a 240 is fun
Spac
Toy car = 240.
Daily = V70.
If you need one car to do both jobs, then it depends on your skills, budget and priorities. For me, it would be the V70.
240
I have a 240, but have driven a V70.
The V70 makes a better daily in that it handles better, is smoother, quiter, faster and more comfortable.
But 240s are far cooler and are still fine to use as a daily (I use mine for that).
Unless you have lots of spare cash, you may find that you run out of things to do on a V70, but with a 240 there's always something else to tinker with.
Parts availability is no problem in either case. FCP euro for new parts, and both 240s and V70s seem to be wrecked fairly often (many 850 parts fit V70s too).

Thanks for all your help, thinking I'll stick with the V70 for now as I already have it at home but if I can find a cheap 240 wagon a bit later I'll definitely buy it.
And another question I'm looking at getting a R spec rear spoiler but does it need to be bolted on or gleued?

Both.
Fittings can be had cheap iirc, 3M pads to glue it.
