Did the other motor have a hole in the block? Or some other issue? I'd assumed that was the one being used. Never read it as being a mock up!

Was just the harness you previously had, not quite enough to make it run?

It had a cracked liner. Harness was fine i was just missing a few matching modules from the car that I got them from because it was already stripped before I got there

Made a maf extension lead for the air box.

And sectioned the old tank and extended it to add a little room for the fuel cell and fittings.

I've incorporated the cell, filter, reg and charcoal canister mounts into the lower tank section so the whole fuel system is a one piece bolt in unit, I should have it finished soon and will post some photos.

When it's competed it will go to ray spence just like my other cars, he's very thorough, does everything by the book and is probably the most reputable engineer in the act, he's also not afraid to give you a list as long as both your arms and legs of things to sort out! But in the end you have a car that's safe which is all that matters

Finally able to post again:)
I've finally worked out how to make the 960 sump work on the RNC whiteblock!

there are a few complications in regards to oil supply and delivery when pairing up the RNC white block with the 960 sump due to the oil cooler being incorporated in the c30 sump I've had to be pretty creative to achieve a result that works for this application.
Oil cooling is taken care of by the front mounted mishimoto cooler and is thermostatically controlled by an MRP oil filter relocation kit.
As far as maintaining oil pressure I have worked out how to do it. I'm not sure if it's been done before on this engine in a rwd format but as soon as I get my proof of concept this could be a kit that I could supply for anyone interested In using this motor in a rwd build.

The photo is of one of the components required to make it all work.

Once I have my fuel system sorted I'll be able to turn the key and upload a first run video.
