morgan I've just bought a roof DVD player for my xc90 and I'm wondering if I can run the power from the sunroof wires or if I need to run new wires to the fuse box ? And how easy are the roof linings to drop down on one side ?

morgan Tried that , run out of power and argue , get left behind etc , couple of 12 trips coming up , drop down DVD is a back up

jaykenneally @morgan, have you met our mechanic named Dean? He has an XC90 with a roof mounted DVD player, and I recall he did some work to it, so it might be worth asking him if you can't get any more information :)

I've been there and after fishing around up there and checking out wiring diagrams ran new wiring from REM for all rear accessories.

pauljloz Passenger side. Lots of options. Simplest is to use a piggy back fuse rather than chase out the accessory feed in the rear wiring loom.
