The blades. I'd obviously just cut inserts to length.
Tridon aren't exactly cheap at $20+ per blade for the basic type.
I clean them every time I clean the windscreen, which is usually every time I get fuel. I change the inserts every year or so, but this seems to make them shake worse for some reason.

Angle isn't right. Adjust the arm angle till it stops. :S
Dauntless
How do you do that? Bend the arms?
Vee_Que
Twist the flat bit to alter the angle the inserts wipes at.
Dauntless
Interesting, thanks. Any ideas on what angle I should be aiming for?

Hard for me to describe. It's too reduce Anything except the edge of the wiper rubber touching ane dragging.

Wipe the blade with a bit of metho to make sure the blades are clean, as well as doing the windscreen.
Generally most of the decent brands (hell, even Tridon) have the adaptors for the Japanese wiper arms so you can convert them to the clip in type.
I normally fit the converters and then run the clip ins; the only problem I've found is that this has messed up the length of the rear wiper arm and it doesn't swipe as well as it did before...

Thanks Ed, that's what I've done with the Hilux, however the Euro style blades aren't the clip in type.
