Just wondering who around brisbane has had some machine work done. I'm fishing around for places to bore the block and some porting/valve machining.
Who has used who and who wont use who again sort of thing.

Engine Engineering at Rocklea, bloody brilliant people to deal with from Mazda 1.8 to a Scania, nothing is a problem.
Gary Stewart for head work, talk to Engine Eng for reference or talk to any MX5, Alfa, BMW racer in QLD,
P&R at Brendale if your not in a hurry and don't mind being fucked around.
There are others that I have used but I'm not comfortable recommending them.

Not overly relevant since I'm not in your area, but I do my own porting, valvetrain R&R and cylinder honing.
I have a trusted local engine specialist who replaces and grinds valve seats for me, and surfaces cylinder heads.

I also do cylinder and engine rebuild work, bore honing and have a trusted machinist. I can organise balancing and boring of blocks. And porting by machine not hand.
