car has been running great for years - but reversed into driveway on monday with no problems but went to start later that day & no joy! Engine turns over fine! so undid the fuel return hose from the fuel rail & connected a short piece of hose & a clear glass jar - ign on & cranked the engine & no fuel circulating - next checked all fuses - all okay - next swapped Fuel pump relays - still the same - no fuel circulating - next undid fuel pump cradle - no noise of fuel pump running with ign on - so ran a jump wire from battery to live side of fuel pump & fuel pump fired up & deposited fuel into glass jar! Great I thought until I reconnected return hose to the fuel rail & tried to start car with jump wire connected to fuel pump turned engine over on the starter & still nothing? Then tried changing the Jetronic computer - no joy - then the ignition black box (module) - still nothing!..............fast running out of idea's - have also done all the obvious (coil/Dist cap etc) - have spark at plugs ....................any further idea's would be most appreciated!

If it has a blade style fuse under the bonnet on the passenger side fender then I'd check that.

If it's 2.4 - crank angle sensor?

On LH2.2 i spent ages fixing a problem and I checked everything - was the earth wire that connect to Chrysler engine management - or more specifically, on the circuit board the solder on the earth pin had crystallised into dust.
The Chrysler handshakes to the ign unit, so if one is bung the other is also as it never receives the OK signal.

240 '88 sedan - NO START? - SOLVED!
thanks for the comments guys - & special thanks to Joe (@240Joe) - your comment prompted me to re-check the line fuse In had put in several years ago to replace the original spade fuse Joe mentioned (found these original's a pain as always got swamped when car was left standing outside in the rain{No gutters on the inside wing to take the water away!}) - anyway I had already checked that fuse & the fuse was okay? - however I thought I'd ditch the fuse & join the two terminals inside the line fuse holder together & HEY PRESTO!!! - fuel up & fired up first pull - what a relief!
Have now replaced the old fuse with another & all is back to normal.

That's good to hear! Mine has got water in it and melted the fuse in the past so I got a waterproof fuse holder from supercheap for a few dollars. Hopefully it won't be a problem again

Thanks again Joe - think I will upgrade to waterproofs as well after the recent trauma - cheers!
