2008 S40 2.4i Timing Belt

New here. Great site.

What is the timing belt interval for the 2008 S40 2.4I? Want to do it myself and can't find out the interval. US sources list 120,000 miles.

Where is best place to buy timing belt kit including water pump?

Found the site as out AC has started playing up and sounds like I need to remover shims from the clutch.

Is more likely to be low on refrigerant based on year than a dead clutch
I would have it drained and filled with fresh r134 before considering a new clutch

Symptoms are AC goes out with heat. Cool down works again.

Was going to remove clutch and remove spacers as required. Is this correct?

Car has 165,000km and as you stated is overdue on time. Must get to soon! Is there a good pictorial to change the timing belt?

be prepared to replace the engine mounts as well (cheap)

With the AC, you can just remove the belly pan and check the spacing on the clutch
measure with some feeler gauges

The clearance must be 0.3–0.5 mm
