Hello. My name is Joe a long time Volvo owner. First ever car, lots in between Currently 4 in the stable my Daughters 240 with 99k on clock, 72 142, 72 164 and a 79 242 GT. There are others not of the Volvo ilk as well. Space and time issues and the fact my barn find 164 is now my favorite next project means something's got to go The GT gets the short straw
Bought it of eBay last year and not touched it other than new in-tank pump to get it to run
It's not pretty and will need a paint but apart from some rust below tail light is very solid Been under it when on hoist and it's nice No accidents. The passenger door is cactus must have filled up with water I have a perfect one in the boot now to replace it with almost perfect patina and stripe match.
It's an AUTO With power steer and A/C Door trims average. Rest would cleanup ok.
I did manage to start and drive car about 9 months ago but not tried since. Fuel will be off now. It's not a get registered tomorrow car and will need some work and tlc. But you can't keep everything and the 164 wins for now.
There may be some capping sand rubbers missing in pictures, they are there I just pulled them of to check under floors and behind bumpers etc.
Assume not running and no Air Conditioning etc It cost me $1600 dollars plus $300 for the door. I would like $1650 for car and door together.
It's at a mates place at Bilpin at the moment so will need to make convenient time to inspect
Any questions just ask
Cheers
Joe
