Hi everyone, I am looking for an early 140 series ignition lock mechanism with key, or ignition barrel and key. The only markings on mine are "Volvo" and "Neiman 148". Or has anybody had luck exchanging the cylinder from one of these with a slightly later model or other generic barrel replacement? I would like to stay original in the location of the switch rather than go for something aftermarket.
Thanks as always. Yow realise what a convenience keys are to start a car when you don't have one. Hot wiring a car will not look so great in the long term either.
