I don't know about the V70 ones they have a different part no.
Careful with the fob and receiver. The FCC codes need to match as above.
Search the part no. on the US ebay site there are a few.

@nickm do I need to change the relay ?
If you have an after market alarm in there you need to swap out the starter relay.
I gather you have the central locking receiver.
If so ...then either the starter bypass relay or the basic alarm will work.
The fob in the picture looks like the alarm guard 2 unit. I think it may require a different relay

I have the fob you have pictured. I had an aftermarket central locking which I removed and installed Volvo 850 Security Theft Lock MODULE 850 Pn 3545654 oem. So I need to remove the Starter circuit (bottom right) what do I replace it with?

I don't think you need but replacing the starter circuit with the red alarm relay works for me.
