Brehon47 VQ - the radio/CD head unit (preferably), assorted interior trim bits, complete instrument panel, rear blinds (mine literally fell apart), rear tail-light lenses (prefer the complete units), boot rubber mat, jack and tool kit, handbook & service books, door lock tabs....the driveline is perfect and the vehicle drives & handles perfectly. When it is complete I want to use it daily on a 150kms journey. Tiny
Vee_Que Most cars won't have the boot rubber mat, I've never seen one, whats wrong with your instrument panel? You need 89 on car for that. I took pics of the tails and I'm sure I have rear blinds, but lots of these things don't actually make for roadworthy issues. Only 850/960 headunits are cd player.
Brehon47 VQ - I'm patient, but some of the bits are going to be difficult to source in good condition. I had a donor car but a move obliged sending it to the recyclers as I have no storage room. My rear tail-lights are externally almost opaque from weather/sun etc and the rego bloke has knocked them back. I used a head light restoration product that improved them but it's line ball whether they will get through. The rear blinds are an original fitting - nothing more than trying to get the vehicle complete. The instrument panel lacks whatever was in the bottom left panel (a medium only for a warning light?) but neither the speedometer nor the odometer work. The head unit is a tape & radio version - I thought the CD version was fitted to late production 760s. Apparently I could fit an 850 CD head unit and sit it neatly on top of the OE graphic equaliser - connecting the latter could be an issue. Nothing is urgent I suppose but I would like to drive it to Forster in October for the OZVOLVO fest. Thanks for your advice and interest. Tiny
Vee_Que You remove the equaliser in order to fit the 850/960 head unit, the 960 being a later 760 of course. I have pics of the taillights for you finally too.
Brehon47 OK VQ - let me know (by PM if you prefer) how much you want for the Tail-lights and head unit - are you wrecking a whole 760 or just have odds and ends? My wretched mobile camera is u/s so I can't send a photo of the head unit I have in my 760. Does your 760/9 series have a graphic equaliser/pre-amplifier that the head unit sits above? Regards, Tiny
