Wouldn't mind 16x7 but mostly want to push the wheel out into the guard on my '79 244, without body work. should I just go to a place like eastern wheel works?
Do not ever go to eastern wheel works.
For many reasons.
They bunted my first set of steelies I got built.
They then refused to fix them. Or replace them.
Then they apparently scrapped them when i took them back after telling them they needed to fix them. As I had paid for a job incomplete.
They also hung up on me a number of times. (Granted by that time I was very pissed off)
I eventually went to Neway wheel repairs (who build my current wheels. And since then found ace alloy wheel repairs who is a customer of mine. And they did some work on the wheels for my 142
Note that any deep dish wheel will not have the most ideal air flow.
For my 142 7" @ +12 offset with 205rubber is pretty much the limit with out modification.
