Aftermarket exhaust for S60R

Thinking of pulling the trigger on an exhaust for my R. just thought i would post here on the off chance someone has one tucked away they've not used yet or have been thinking of going back to stock.

Identical, the only difference is in the rear end bumper

Exhaust came on the car when I bought it second hand a month ago and the SIL who is driving it wants it quiet like stock

I need to measure but I'm 95% sure its a custom made SS system that is 3" from the turbo back with a race cat and a single rear muffler, to me it sounds good and it flows dam well

i've been told the difference between a V70R and S60R exhaust is 2" in length with the S60R being the shorter. hanging points are supposed to be the same. if i can confirm that and the exhaust is stainless as you say, then i am interested. where are you located?

pick up will be fine. i'm a good 6 hour drive from Sydney so need a way to ensure it fits before i commit to driving up. Is the V70 an R or standard? if standard, are the hangers in the same locations? i know the mid section of the R is made to run alongside the tail shaft. sorry to badger you with questions, as you can see it's something i need to get right before pulling the trigger due to the logistics. very much appreciate you doing a vid too. if it isn't too much trouble, could you take some pics too please? TIA

Well here's an update on this... It will not be happening any time soon.

Took the R in for a scheduled service and it turned out it was in a pretty bad way. Two days and almost $7k later i will not have the money to do an exhaust any time soon :(

What did they rape you for?

165k scheduled service
two tail light bulbs out. new ones required
wiper blades worn out. New ones required
AC not getting cold. needed re-gassing
Top engine mount split. New one required
Strut top mounts split, new ones required
Radiator end tank split and leaking coolant, New radiator required.
Control arm bushes (front and rear) flogged out. New ones required
wheel alignment required due to strut tops and control arm bushes.
Oil breather system blocked. New breather box and associated hoses required.
Inlet pulley and exhaust pulleys (VVT cam gears) worn and had excessive movement allowing oil to leak past seals. new ones required including cam seals.
Timing belt contaminated with oil due to afore mentioned leak. new one required including tensioner pulley.
inner CV boot on drive shaft had a hole in it. new one required.
Various other incidentals like gaskets etc.. to do with the above.

the problem with the engine was twofold. The inlet and exhaust cam gears were worn. it's a common problem on the S60 models apparently and when there is more than a certain amount of movement due to wear, the pulley can move out of the cam seals alloying oil to leak. this is what contaiminated my Cam belt which was only replaced 20k ago. The other problem was the oil breather system was completely blocked meaning the engine was pressurised and had it stayed like that for much longer, could have damaged seals and blown out the rear engine seal (i think that was the one?) It was literally a time bomb waiting to go off.

all up, nearly $4.5k in parts and almost $2.5k in labour. :(

and tonight the missus called to say some sort of ABS warning has come up on the dash which has disabled the cruise control. :/
