Spotted some Virgos on Ebay.
100-150 dollars pick up only in Ballarat.

Good catch! I think these have been up there before. I'm tempted, but don't really know what I'm looking for with alloy wheel condition (straightness?!) and I know Virgos are pretty soft...

Virgo's are very common, and a lot of them seem to be buckled.

"Was $800.00 now $750.00... I have to move these on"
Uh, if those sell above $400 I'll just sell mine and buy new.
How do you tell when they're buckled, just by lying down on flat concrete - or on a tyre balance machine? I don't think mine are, but I need to get my set of 5x repainted. Prefer to know if they're straight or not before I drive to Sydney.

@familyman i assume you are getting some vibration, take it in to be balanced and they will tell you if it is egged. You can check yourself by getting thr car in the air and spinning the each wheel while watching the edges of the rim, it should be pretty clear. The inside edge is usually the one that goes, so if you aren't sure you can hold up a bit if wood to the brake assembly so it just touches the rim and spin it.
familyman
Oh they're not on a car yet. They were on another 240 and I don't recall it having vibration. But it was a basket case of a car with all sorts of problems too, so I may just not have noticed. It's just that I keep hearing how soft Virgos are, and I want to have the gutter rash removed and repainted before I put tyres on them for rego. Thanks. I should have thought of something like that. Similar to checking a bicycle wheel.
