Hey everyone, new to the forum so I thought I'd post up my pride and joy.
I've always loved Volvo's, especially the S40 and this popped up 10 or so months ago and I just had to have it.
It's a 2005 S40 T5 Awd, with the M66 manual. Which is rare enough as is, but finding one over here in
W(ait)
A(while) was something I thought I'd never see.
The car had one owner from new, and I picked it up with 80,000km's on the clock.
Things didn't start out great with the Alternator belt snapping after 3 days, but the dealership replaced immediately and so I got to town on getting the timing belt done as it was also due and I was freaking out after the alternator incident. Not a single problem since.
It's already done a lot in the short time I've owned it. Two trips down south (3/4 hour drives with a bunch of friends), trips up to Barbagello raceway and everything inbetween (including 2 trips down the drag strip!).
I love my car, and I've been torn between keeping it stock or doing a couple of tasteful modifications.
Hope to meet a few more like minded Volvo enthusiasts over here in WA.
Enjoy a couple of photo's!
