Have been sorting out the handling lately with revised front hub and rotor setup, LCA correction/quick steer, '92 rack, spherical bearing upper strut mounts, alloys and some R spec tyres - Federal RS-RR's. This setup keeps the front track width the same but gives me more caster and about 1.8 deg negative camber before the stock diameter spring hits the strut tower. The combo of the two-piece rotor, alloys and no more steel hub adapter is a reduction in weight of 3.8kg per corner.
The car is heaps more fun to drive in corners now - you really feel like you can throw it into a corner hard and know what the car is going to do. Also feels more planted under hard acceleration with no noticeable bump steer. I'd say the very stiff side walls of these tyres help also.
The quick steer takes a little getting used to and along with the changes in camber and caster it makes the steering very quick and direct, but much more sensitive to any input. Will post details of changes later.
