familyman Perhaps you have reasons to want NSW only, but just in case... I purchased a car from VIC, flew down for ~$90, drove it home (www.whereis.com and allow about 9km per litre), went to the RTA, gave them the old plates and was handed new ones... It didn't take any longer than renewing rego. In fact once at the counter I was out in two minutes. I might be remembering incorrectly, but I don't think I even had to pay CTP.
24Brett2 Unfortunately it is more of a time issue. I dont have the time to source, collect, and rego a car Usually.
