I cut off the old rubber mount, then wedged the prop shaft between two large wooden beams and bashed it off.
I also did the u-joints. It looks like the u-joints have been replaced in the past, but the person who did it last time abused the prop shaft quite a bit. It had big dents in it around the u-joint sleeve... retainer... area. I don't know what to call it. I packed the new joints and filled them with grease. Most of them turn freely, but one or two are a bit stiffer. Wondering if I should be worried about that, or if it's something that will bed-in easily once I put the car back together.
