Volvo2106 Gents. I am looking for the flattish spring-metal clip used to retain the door key lock. You know - the u-shaped slide-on thingy. Its 14mm across the gap. Anyone got one to spare. Thanks.
Volvo2106 Thanks Mike, Angus. Angus highlighted that I am misled as to the use of the clip. I am not sure where it comes from - but it looks like the attached (stolen from a Ford website) . I found a broken one in my car door. Perhaps someone will recognise it.
Angus242164 Can you take a pic of the actual clip that was in your door? That should make it a lot easier to ID.
Angus242164 That's not a type I've come across before, it's either something that's only used on late 240's, or it's from another make of car and someone has fitted it as some sort of improvised repair.
Philia_Bear I've got the door panels off the front doors on my 1990 and my 1993 240... I'll grab some pics tonight and post in this thread Are the windows of the electric wind or manual wind variety?
DCW242 That clip is used with '86+ manual mirrors, under the interior triangle bit with the adjuster on top.
