Volvo mechanics in Melbourne

Hello all,

I have tried the site search function, but I really don't think I know how to drive it properly, because I cannot seem to narrow down my search results.

I assume it is here somewhere, but I am looking for a list of Volvo mechanics in Melbourne, ideally in the North, around Coburg area.

I have one lead for a bloke called Romeo, but there's no response on the phone number I have and googling the number brings up Volvonly wreckers which google say is closed.

Can anyone point me to a thread with the information needed?

Others may know of someone in the north but the main recommendations on here are for the south and east - Berry Motor Group in Mitcham, Voldat in Moorabbin and Mason's in Seaford

Was Berry Motor Group the guys who took over the client base from Carson and Murphy? Whoever they were, I heard they were good. Not as good as the legendary C & M, of course. :^)

I had one outfit here in Adelaide did a loan 240. I used to get our car serviced more often than it needed, just so I could take the 240 for a spin. :^)

I bought a b230f engine from LRH Automotive in Frankston and he seemed to unofficially be a Volvo mechanic. He had a 240 wagon with a 5ltr V8 as a shop car, and the loan car was a 240 sedan - both of which were advertised for sale on eBay recently. The street around the workshop was littered with Volvos.

Masons do loan cars they have 7 on to lend out, they also do pick up from doncaster through to brIghton and berwick every day when required. They also do all the work for Mount Waverly Car Centre volvo.........LRH do mostly 240 stuff and he is a VIV tester

LRH Automotive service and repair all model Volvos, we are a 5 hoist shop, i also own a V70 and wifey has a V50,
And yes we are a VIV inspection center,
V70 is our loan vehicle BTW ?
I converted the 92 240 wagon a few years ago, this was sold to a air craft engineer in brisbane,
The sedan is now with an elerly customer as her replacement,
See some sights and attitudes with the VIV inspections, makes life interesting ?

@RobV7OLVO , i think i bough a set of Volans off you , oooh , more than 10 years ago?
I had them refurbished successfully and used them on my 855R thank-you!
I do wonder how one or two had flat spots and i always thought the car they were on was one that got a tilt slab wall on top of it? It was just odd the very flat bit,not like road damage....Do you remember the wheels? A Pommy git picked them up for me. Bobby Strode.
