I had a sunroof in both the 850T5 I had (2004-2006) and the S70T5 (2009) but as the cars are older now, im more concerned about rust, so preference is a car without one.
For me, there isn't any more to it than that.
I'm not tall enough that headroom in a P80 is an issue.

Update:

There's been a LOT of work done on Britt lately.

First visit to GLT - to get it roadworthy:

new top engine mount
new turbo drain pipe o-ring
new control arms - left & right
new brake pads - front & back
new windscreen
repair RH front window regulator
replaced transmission oil
removed HIDs and put original bulbs back in.

Second visit to GLT - returning to repair the RH front window regulator, also

replaced LH external mirror
replaced heater core

Third visit to Surefix Motors (much closer to home)

Replaced front disc rotors
Serviced fuel injectors

Hopefully that all the mechanical stuff sorted out for a while. Upgraded the standard H7 headlight bulbs with Philips X-treme Vision Halogens in the low and high beams.

Also took her to Dux Car Centre for detailing inside and out.

More work done on the C70. The day before going to the V8s at Ipswich Raceway I noticed a puddle of coolant below the car when it was parked in the garage. Seems that with the leak in the heater core being fixed the next weakest point gave way - namely the radiator.

Britt now has a new radiator, top and bottom hoses.

May have been mentioned before but worth reminding.
All this stuff should just be done when you buy a P80. It may fail and kill it otherwise.

Get new bottle , they can fail catastrophically as it is very old. Just over $100 from Melbourne , I will remember where ...
CTS , Coolant Temp Sensor.
If ye haven't done thermostat , I bet when you take it out it will be all wonky , 90℅ are and can cook the motor too.
All this needs done stat....A little money to save a $1900 head gasket fix.

The break around the connections, especially the bottom one. When I changed just the cap my OK but untouched bottle saw the proper pressure again and cracked at the bottom connection a few 1000 k's later.

Britt was tested by a 250km round trip to the Sunshine State Volvo Club (SSVC) Committee meeting on Saturday afternoon. Ran fine there and back. Brakes are still noisier than I'd like (squeaking on light braking) but I'm told that should go away when the pads bed in with the new rotors.

I took the rubber strips off the roof today and treated them with "Forever Black". Two coats and they look much better and are ready to go back on. Tomorrow I'll stick them back on with either double sided 3M tape or maybe use some silicon sealer. Not sure which will be better.

3M tape for sure , silicon is messy , getsmouldy and the 3M stuff is brilliant.

I need to find out too for my spoiler.
I may ask my panel shop.
They may have some to give me I hope but a panel shop supplier or maybe even auto parts store maybe??

I'm off to the auto shop this am but I'm not sure if I need padded or non-padded tape.

The padding , thin I presume , would allow for imperfection somewhat.
Looks like badges etc are with thin padded tape from what I have pulled off before.

The old spoiler tape/pad was thickish. Very hard to get it off the parts once separated. I need to look up a way too do it , I have a caramel wheel , haven't tried that yet.
